Still Life Still - Kids
Music Video Treatment
Hey all, here’s images for a treatment I did for the band, “Still Life Still” for the song, “Kids”. I was going for something that brought people back to the glory days of high school, and all the problems that comes with.
The idea was to have chalk drawings animate as if you were drawing and then erasing them, so you would see the after image as the scene progressed. The story was going to be about a boy who’s parents are divorcing, and he decides to run away, but upon witnessing a meteor shower, he reconsiders.
I especially liked the idea of a boy running away with an airport bag full of toys and crackers, a very modern interpretation of a typical moment of youthful defiance.
More to come!
Here’s another concept peice from a couple years ago. The band “Hurricane Cletis” asked me to help realize a mascot for the band.
After days of researching yokel mythology and rituals this is what I came up with.
A fun exercise incorporating the ink splatters which by today’s standards is SOOOO 2010, amirite?
Another page for Drunk Fight! There should be 15, so i’m getting close to finishing it. Once I’m done I’ll be lettering the whole thing.
Not sure how to distribute this to people, might just be a free download, or by donation. What say you internet?
Page 8 of Drunk fight comic, I’m going to try and wrap this up soon as I’m going to be starting the next volume of Mathemagick soon. Exciting summer!
Here’s a concept drawing for the wife in ghost form from the “get myself a gun” music video I directed.
Just finished another page for the mini-epic “Drunk FIGHT” still have to go back and add sfx and all the text, but enjoying it so far. Also, working with my cousin on a new idea, expect to see some sketches soon!
Moving on to some comic work, heres a page from “Drunk Fight”, hope to have more to show soon. Getting lots of use out of the new Cintiq, these things are an amazing piece of hardware!
